I’ve been experimenting for months with different soaps, from dawn, olive oil and vinegar mix, olive oil and dawn, murray’s oil(which actually had the quickest cleaning results, but due to the natural oils in this product, it caused the hairs to fall out. :( ) to elf brush cleaner. I even own brush cleaners by cinema secrets and ben nye, but to me, those are for when I’m on set, not when I’m using this as an everyday cleaner to thoroughly clean out my brushes. I still you need to wash them period, even with the quick drying brush sprays. Nothing beats soap and water in my opinion. So I decided to test out a few soaps instead. The soaps worked just as great but with no FALL OUT! I love that it's dye free and antibacterial, which is a huge plus for me. You can find this at my local Dollar Tree or any grocery store.
