One thing I've learned about eyeshadow is it's not a one size fits all look. Every eye is shaped differently. What you may be able to do on one person, you may not be able to do on the other. I've watched loads of youtube videos, and this had to be one of the easiest ways to figure out eye shapes for those who are aspiring to become makeup artist. Last thing you want to experience is being unprepared when it comes to how you should apply eyeshadow based on the eye shape. This video just breaks down the 6 different eye shapes to be aware of. Once you figure that out, then the next step is how to apply eyeshadow to that specific eye shape.

In order to become great at your craft, it is important to know all the small details, even the one's that might seem trivial.

MUA TIPS: How to choose the perfect eyebrow color - powder, pencil or gel

So this was something I came across recently when I was on the search for the perfect brow color for redheads, as well as the perfect eyeshadow color for green/blue eyes. I don't like to get caught off guard when taking on makeup gigs. The more and more I get into makeup, the more I've come to realize there is so much to it. MUA TIPS: How to get rid of dry cracked lips

I've experience this quite a few times on location, where my client has dry, chapped lips. There was no way I could apply lipstick on top of it without bringing even more attention to peeling skin on their lips.

In this video, I share a quick tip on how to treat cracked, peeling, dry lips during a makeup session. I would like to recommend this as an option before applying foundation, since oil is involved in the process, to avoid rubbing off your foundation.

Also, please take caution when dealing with cold sores, and severely open wounded/cracked lips. This option may not apply, and could only worsen the condition. Also, remember to always ask your client to let you know when it gets too sensitive during the process.
